As a Puerto Rican, this project hit close to home as this company works to distribute coffee from my hometown. I found this project extremely fulfilling because Puerto Rican coffee is a rarity in the coffee market. Due to high demand, the coffee on the island is mostly consumed by its people leaving little coffee for export.

The father and son duo had the heart to make good coffee accessible to the US market and to help stimulate the Puerto Rican economy after Hurricane Maria, inspiring me as I developed the visual and messaging assets.

Film
Photography

With using film photography for the brand we were able to implement an essence of humanity and transparency. This allowed their audience to connect with the rustic and organic behavior of the company’s identity by giving depth to the intentional moments caught on camera.

Custom
local art

Working hand in hand with a local artist, I was able to design bags of coffee that both promoted local art and helped give the artist a source of royalty revenue during difficult economic times.
